Culture Week at Marian College

The first week back this term was our Cultural Week and we enjoyed an array of activities and games going on each and every day!  We wanted to incorporate all the cultures in the Marian whānau, so we had things planned for each continent.  There was henna, a quiz, African games, and many more!  The big ‘finale’ of our week was food trucks at lunch time and students selling cultural cuisine.  Many students participated in a lunchtime performance, sharing with us their culture and talents.  In the foyer, we had presentations, food, and tri-fold boards showcasing some of the cultures here at Marian.  All in all, it was a lovely week, and we are so blessed to have the opportunity to share, learn, and appreciate the uniqueness of everyone at our kura.
