Winter Tournament

Thank you to everyone who was involved and participated at Winter Sport Tournament Week.  There was much sickness amongst each team and staff, but we all persevered through the challenges and achieved great results.  The growth in Marian College as a school in the competitive sport arena has come a long way.  

This was a huge turning point for me to see how far we have come as a school, our history and traditions, our new facilities and the goals we have set and achieved across all sports.  We have lifted our standards and are starting to see results from this.

The future is looking exciting, I want to thank all our Year 13s who were leaders on and off the court/field this season.  You have left a huge mark on the other students and our community and can hold your heads high on finishing your sports here at Marian College on such a high!

New Zealand Competitive Aerobics Federation (NZCAF) Aerobics Competition Results 

Recently, Beth Andrew competed at the NZCAF, Wellington Regionals where she placed first in the FISAF Youth Individual category. 

Last week Beth, Ella Lingard and Sophie Lingard all competed at the NZCAF Christchurch Regionals.  Their results follow:

Beth:

1st - Federation of International Sport, Aerobics & Fitness (FISAF) Youth Individual

1st - FISAF Junior Team

Ella:

1st - Division 3 Under 19 Individual

2nd - FISAF Junior Pair

1st - FISAF Cadet Team

The girls have now qualified for Nationals in Christchurch next month!
