New uniform items can be purchased from Mainland Uniforms.

New Marian College uniforms are available from Mainland Uniforms, 511 Wairakei Road.

Some pre-loved uniform items are available for purchase from the Marian College school office at half price. Our PTA run regular second hand uniform sales - these are advertised on the Marian College Facebook Page.

Please ensure you are aware of the following:

  • Excessive make-up should not be worn. The blazer must be worn on official occasions eg. Mass, assemblies and to and from school every day.
  • The summer dress may be worn on the street without the blazer in hot weather (but not just with a cardigan/jersey).
  • Correct sports uniform (tracksuit bottoms and jacket) may be worn on a Wednesday if a student is going to play sport immediately after school.
  • Only navy tops with the Marian College logo are permitted to be worn underneath jackets.
  • Jandals, crocs or slippers are not permitted.
  • Dress length must be appropriate.
  • White ankle socks must be worn with shoes, plain with no sport logos. These socks must be visible.

Hair and Jewellery:

  • Hair must be worn simply and either cut above the collar level or neatly tied back.
  • Hair should be a natural colour.
  • Girls with pierced ears may wear two small plain gold or silver studs/sleepers (not dangly) in each ear. No other piercings are permitted. Clear plastic stud retainers must be in place.
  • No other jewellery, bangles, or chains (apart from medical alert etc.) can be worn.
  • Any form of taonga or cross may be worn with the uniform but should be worn at a longer length.
  • The only nails permitted to be worn are French tips with clear polish. Nails of an excessive length will be required to be removed as they are not practical.

Students who, for unforeseen circumstances, are unable to be in the correct uniform must obtain a uniform pass from the Deputy Principal before school.

All questions on uniform are to be directed to the deputy principal
