Marian College Rowing celebrated its most successful regatta ever at the South Island Secondary School Rowing Championships at Lake Ruataniwha, Twizel, over the weekend.

Sixteen Marian crews made 10 finals in the championships – eight of which were A finals – and almost all our rowers competed in an A final race.

Half of the Marian squad received a medal and four out of our 20 rowers received two medals each.

The loud clinking of metal was a sound to behold at whole school assembly on Tuesday!
