Mercy Cup 2022 was hosted by St Kevin's College in Oamaru on Tuesday, 21 June. Around 100 students competed in sports including netball, football and hockey.
The day started at 4:45am for our Marian students with a three hour bus ride to follow. We were welcomed with a frost, and despite the chilly conditions of the morning, our girls got to work to show our fellow mercy family some Marian Magic.
We did great as a college placing second overall with our XI Football team and Netball C achieving second in their divisions. We are so proud of all the teams and individuals who participated this year, you all performed with pride and did Marian College Proud.
