Timetable

School hours
Girls are expected to be in the school by 8.25am every morning. Lessons begin at 8.30am except on Wednesday (8.55am start). A roll check is taken for each class and house group. Classes finish at 3.00pm each day except Wednesday when classes finish at 2.30 pm for sport.

Classes
The school is timetabled for a five period day four days a week and a six period day one day a week, making 26 periods a week. Assembly is held each week with religious education classes preparing and leading assembly prayers. House group time is held four times each week, with chapel for each house being once every two weeks.

School reports and examinations
Report evenings are held for junior and senior students in term two. These follow an interim report in term one and a written report in term two. Examinations are held during the year for years 11, 12 and 13. Years 9 and 10 have formal examinations at the end of the year and regular testing takes place in all subjects. All parents receive a second written report in term four. Parents may contact the school at any stage.

Awards
We are NZQA (New Zealand Qualifications Authority) accredited and students are prepared for the full range of secondary school qualifications available in New Zealand. These include the National Certificates of Educational Achievement (NCEA). Participation is also encouraged in such activities as Australian science, English and mathematics competitions.
